SOUS CHEF

Giselle Canggu Bali is looking for a Sous Chef

Giselle Canggu Bali is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Sous Chef to support and supervise daily kitchen operations. Candidates must have strong culinary knowledge, leadership capability, and be able to communicate in basic English.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the Head Chef in managing all kitchen operations
• Supervise and guide CDP, Commis, and kitchen staff
• Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet standards
• Oversee food preparation, cooking processes, and station workflow
• Manage stock control, ordering, and inventory
• Ensure compliance with hygiene, safety, and sanitation standards
• Train and develop kitchen team members
• Support menu planning, recipe development, and costing
• Handle kitchen issues and maintain smooth service during peak hours
• Perform opening/closing kitchen duties

Requirements:

• Minimum 2–3 years experience as Sous Chef or Senior CDP
• Strong culinary skills and deep knowledge of kitchen operations
• Able to communicate in basic English
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities
• Organized, clean, and detail-oriented
• Able to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
• Able to work shifts, weekends, and busy hours
• Strong teamwork and positive professional attitude
