Sous Chef

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Executive Chef in managing the day-to-day kitchen operations.
• Ensure all dishes are prepared according to recipe standards and maintain consistency in taste, presentation, and quality.
• Oversee food preparation, cooking processes, and plating standards.
• Supervise and train kitchen staff to maintain operational excellence.
• Maintain cleanliness, food safety, and hygiene standards in accordance with company policies.
• Assist with inventory management, stock ordering, and cost control.
• Support menu development and seasonal offerings together with the Executive Chef.
• Ensure smooth service during peak periods and lead the kitchen team effectively.

Requirements

• Minimum 8 years of wok cooking experience is required.
• Previous experience as a Sous Chef or Senior Chef in a Chinese restaurant or premium dining establishment is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Chinese cuisine and wok techniques.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to food quality and consistency.
• Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset.

Working Schedule

6 days work week (Off day every Wednesday)
