We are seeking an experienced Sous Chef to join the culinary team at Masonry. Restaurant Uluwatu in Pecatu, Kuta Selatan, Bali. This is a contract position that offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic hospitality environment, supporting the Head Chef in delivering exceptional cuisine and maintaining the highest standards of food preparation and kitchen management. As Sous Chef, you will play a crucial role in ensuring seamless kitchen operations, overseeing food quality, and leading kitchen staff to achieve our culinary excellence standards. Your expertise and leadership will be integral to the success of our food service operations.

What we're looking for :

• Minimum 5 years' professional kitchen experience in a high-volume hospitality environment

• Proven experience working as a Jr. Sous Chef or Sous Chef

• Strong knowledge of international cuisine, cooking techniques and food preparation methods

• Excellent leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop kitchen staff

• Comprehensive understanding of food safety, hygiene regulations and HACCP principles

• Proficiency in kitchen management, including inventory control, budgeting and cost management

• Strong organisational skills and the ability to work under pressure whilst maintaining high standards

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams

• Experience in Restaurant would be advantageous

• Domiciled in Bali, Able to join immediately,
