SOUS CHEF

We’re looking for a motivated Sous Chef to support the Head Chef and ensure smooth daily kitchen operations.

The Role

• Assist with daily kitchen management
• Supervise and coordinate kitchen teams
• Ensure quality, consistency, and hygiene standards
• Train and support junior kitchen staff
• Manage inventory, ordering, and food costs

Ideal Candidate

• Hospitality experience preferred
• Strong leadership and organisational skills
• Creative mindset with operational discipline
• Well-presented with good communication skills
• Team-oriented with a positive attitude
• Willing to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays

Operating as a bakery–café from 6am to 5pm, and transitioning into a bistro from 5pm until late, RUPA moves seamlessly from handcrafted pastries and relaxed breakfasts to evening plates, cult cocktails, and natural wines.
