ABOUT THE JOB

Position: Sous Chef

Terms of Employment: Full time. Candidates must be flexible and have the ability to work variable shifts including days, evenings, nights and weekends.

The Sous Chef will be responsible for assisting with all food productions while providing critical support in building and growing Rendesvouz.

• Assists with food and safety compliance and food management.
• Helps to build and develop a high functioning Kitchen team
• Supervise activities of specialist chefs and cooks.
• Assist with arranging for equipment purchases and repairs.
• Perform other duties as directed.
• Enjoys a busy environment.
• Cooks with passion, heart and pride.

• The Sous Chef demonstrates an ability to produce a high volume of work in a timely manner, which is accurate, complete and of high quality.

REQUIREMENTS

• Culinary trade diploma or Red Seal preferred
• Minimum 3 years of culinary experience, leadership experience preferred
• Food safety/ nutrition qualification are preferred.
