Sous Chef

We are looking for a chef to join our bistro style cafe team, working 5 days per week, based at our Udny cafe, AB41 7PQ.

• Roughly 35 hours per week across 5 days
• All day time hours, with no split shifts
• Permanent contract
• Prepping food from scratch and doing food service for a busy, bistro style cafe.
• Up to 70 covers per shift
• Working alongside one other chef and a KP on most shifts
• Hourly rate
• Paid break with meal
• As much coffee as you can handle!

Your skills:

• We are looking for someone who is capable of running the kitchen in the absence of the head chef, this will include taking responsibility for customer allergies, paperwork and instructing the KP.
• At least one year's full time, commercial kitchen experience
• If you can bake, that's great for us too, as we do all our baking on site

We would be willing to consider someone wanting to work 4 days per week.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £13.50-£14.50 per hour
