The Volley on King Street is looking for a Sous Chef for our kitchen! In the 13 years since opening, The Volley has made a name for itself as one of the top destinations in Bristol for independent craft beer, spirits and locally sourced food.

What are we looking for?

We are looking for an aspiring chef who wants to develop their skills in a busy kitchen. Serving classic British pub food with the space for rotating specials and interesting bar snacks that complement our ever changing selection of beer and cider.

The ideal candidate will be well versed in a kitchen and have the following skills:

• Excellent communicator
• Proven track record working in a busy pub or restaurant
• KPI and target driven
• Delivering consistently high levels of service in a fast, multi-faceted business
• EHO/H&S competent
• Strong organisational skills
• A keen eye for detail
• Aiding the Head Chef with paperwork and stock control where necessary

Job Types: Permanent, Full-time

Pay: £30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
