Sous Chef

**Job Summary:**
We are looking for a skilled Sous Chef to join our culinary team. The Sous Chef will be responsible for assisting the Head Chef in meal preparation, managing kitchen staff, and ensuring the highest quality of food is served to customers.

**Qualifications:**

• Proven experience working as a Sous Chef or in a similar role in a high-volume kitchen.
• In-depth knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
• Strong leadership and communication skills to effectively lead and motivate kitchen staff.
• Ability to multitask and work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Understanding of food safety and sanitation regulations.
• Certification from a culinary school or equivalent experience is a plus.

**Responsibilities:**

• Assist the Head Chef in creating and preparing high-quality dishes according to the menu and recipes.
• Oversee and manage kitchen staff, including training, scheduling, and supervising their work.
• Ensure that food preparation meets quality standards and health regulations.
• Help with inventory management, ordering supplies, and controlling costs.
• Collaborate with the Head Chef to develop new menu items and specials.
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen area.
