What they need
looking to hire sous chef who is assisting head chef in the kitchen, running the line in all day breakfast cafe, with variety of menu.
Responsibilities
- Lead and train line cooks and kitchen assistants
- Run the pass and keep food quality consistent
- Cook breakfast, brunch. dinner items (eggs, pancakes, sandwiches, bowls, sides)
- Manage prep, ordering, stock rotation, and waste
- Enforce food safety, HACCP, and allergen standards
- Help create the schedule and develop seasonal specials
- Cover for the Head Chef when absent
Requirements
- 5+ years kitchen experience, 1+ year in a senior role
- Strong breakfast and brunch line skills
- Leadership ability and calm under pressure
- Food safety knowledge (HACCP certificate preferred)
- Flexible for early mornings, weekends.
Pay: AED5,000.00 per month
