Sous Chef

We are a local coffee roaster and suburban brunch café seeking an experienced full-time Sous Chef to join our team. This role could also suit a senior CDP who is looking to take their next step.

You’ll be joining a strong high-performance team who shares a passion for food, coffee and hospitality in a 7-day brunch café. We pride ourselves on our quality, customer service and speed.

Working with our Head Chef, you will be responsible for helping the kitchen run well and delivering great food for our customers.

Job requirements and details:

• Minimum two (2) years’ experience in a similar leadership role within a fast-paced café/restaurant environment (preferably with breakfast/lunch).
• You should have strong and clear communication skills, be reliable and organised and be committed to quality.
• You are able to lead a small brigade under pressure with a clam and focused demeanour and deliver an outstanding service.
• Competitive salary and no evenings.
