We are looking for a hands-on, solution-driven chef who can lead by example, support the development of the team and contribute to a positive and professional kitchen environment.

  • Train, mentor and support junior chefs, providing constructive feedback and helping them develop their skills and confidence.
  • Oversee stock rotation, storage and wastage, and assist with ordering and supplier deliveries.
  • Maintain high standards of kitchen cleanliness, hygiene and food safety at all times.
  • Ensure kitchen equipment is used safely and report any maintenance or operational issues promptly.
  • Communicate effectively with the kitchen and wider restaurant team to support a smooth and timely service.
  • Respond proactively to special requests and changing requirements during service.
  • Take responsibility for kitchen operations in the Head Chef’s absence when required.
