- Assist with ordering and receiving, verifying product quality and accuracy, and maintaining appropriate stock levels.
- Support accurate inventory counts, proper storage and rotation, and communication of shortages or purchasing needs.
- Reinforce food safety, sanitation, cleanliness, and proper handling of allergies and dietary requests.
- Model CBC’s core values daily: demonstrate a Hospitality Mindset , Stay Curious about opportunities to improve, and Give a Sh*t through ownership, follow-through, and care for guests and teammates.
Experience
- Proven kitchen leadership experience in a busy restaurant, brewery, or hospitality setting, with a hands-on approach and the ability to stay composed during service.
- Experience executing food for private events, banquets, or catering while maintaining quality, consistency, and timing.
- Strong understanding of kitchen operations, including shift management, ordering, inventory, and labor and food cost control.
- Solid culinary skills with attention to recipe execution, cooking techniques, food handling, and presentation.
- Working knowledge of food safety and sanitation, with a commitment to keeping a clean, organized, and safe kitchen.
- Ability to coach, train, and support teammates while setting clear expectations and holding the team accountable.
- A Hospitality Mindset that shows in how you treat guests and teammates, a willingness to Stay Curious and keep improving, and a Give a Sh*t attitude toward every plate, every shift, and every detail.
- Open availability required, including days, nights, weekends, and opening and closing shifts.
