SOUS CHEF

About the role

We are looking for a passionate, hands-on, and creative Sous Chef to join our culinary team at Tanah Mympi. If you have a sharp eye for detail, a strong background in kitchen operations, and a passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences, we would love to hear from you.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Head Chef in daily kitchen management, food preparation, and flawless execution during service.
• Maintain rigorous standards of food safety, hygiene, portion control, and presentation.
• Help manage stock rotation, supplier orders, and minimize kitchen waste.
• Train, mentor, and lead line cooks and kitchen staff in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Contribute creative ideas for seasonal menus, specials, and daily offerings.

About you

• Proven experience as a Sous Chef or strong Senior Line Cook ready for the next step.
• Solid foundation in cuisine preparation.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills under pressure.
• Valid food safety certification and flexible availability (including weekends and holidays).
• Basic English
