Sous Chef

Responsibilities:

• Assist the Head Chef in managing all aspects of the kitchen and food production
• Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation to ensure high quality and consistency
• Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
• Collaborate with the Head Chef to develop new menu items and specials
• Assist with control measures
• Monitor kitchen operations to maximize efficiency and productivity

Skills:

• Strong knowledge of kitchen management principles and techniques
• Proficient in food production methods and techniques
• Familiarity with the food industry trends and best practices
• Excellent food handling skills, including proper storage, preparation, and cooking techniques
• Culinary expertise with a focus on taste, presentation, and creativity
• Previous experience in restaurant management or supervising a team
• Knowledge of bartending skills is a plus
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Strong organizational and time management skills
