Sous Chef

As the Sous Chef, you will be responsible for complete operation of the kitchen and be the leader at the front to assist the Executive Head Chef in ensuring a smooth, efficient and safe running of the kitchen. You will be able to demonstrate your methodical approach to problem solving and have the ability to display a real passion for food and customer service. You will assist the Executive Head Chef and use your entrepreneurial skills to create a thriving and successful working environment. You will display excellent management and communication skills and have good delegation and influencing skills.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Have a strong background in contract catering and large volume
• Preparing delicious, high-quality food that delights our clients and customers
• Being an enthusiastic team player and excellent communicator
• Have a strong understanding of commerciality's
• Training and development of the team, nurturing talent
• Complying with Food Handling & Hygiene standards
• Complying with Health & Safety regulations
• Paid overtime
• Daytime shifts - 7am - 15:30pm
• 40 hours per week

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £21.16 per hour
