Job Summary

We are seeking a talented Sous Chef to join our new opening team. In this pivotal role, you will assist the Executive Chef in overseeing daily kitchen operations, ensuring the highest standards of food quality, safety, and hospitality.

Duties

• Assist in supervising food production and preparation to ensure consistency, quality, and presentation standards are met
• Lead and manage kitchen staff, providing clear direction, training, and support to foster teamwork and high performance
• Support the development of new menu items by contributing culinary ideas and ensuring proper execution
• Ensure timely service by monitoring food preparation processes and assisting during busy periods
• Maintain a positive atmosphere in the kitchen by promoting hospitality values and serving as a role model for professionalism

Qualifications

• Proven supervising experience in a professional kitchen or restaurant environment
• Strong background in food production, food preparation, and cooking techniques
• Excellent leadership qualities with the ability to handle high-pressure situations effectively
• Commitment to maintaining high standards of hospitality and ensuring guest satisfaction

Pay: £28,500.00-£34,000.00 per year
