Sous Chef

NOW HIRING: CHEF / SOUS CHEF
BEKA Georgian Restaurant & Bar | Downtown Hollywood, FL

BEKA is looking for an experienced, hands-on Chef or Sous Chef to join our kitchen team. We’re seeking someone who takes pride in quality food, leads by example, and keeps service organized and efficient.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and execute dishes with consistent quality, flavor, and presentation.
• Lead kitchen operations during prep and service.
• Train and support cooks while maintaining clear kitchen standards.
• Manage prep lists, portion control, inventory, and food waste.
• Coordinate food timing with the front-of-house team.
• Maintain a clean, organized kitchen and follow food safety standards.
• Contribute to menu development and daily specials.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Chef, Sous Chef, or strong kitchen leader.
• Ability to work confidently on the line during busy service.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Reliable attendance and availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Experience with Georgian cuisine is a plus; willingness to learn is essential.

Compensation: Based on experience and qualifications.
