Sous Chef

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Sous Chef to join our culinary team at a busy, neighborhood-fine dining Italian style restaurant. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the Chef de Cuisine in leading the kitchen operations, ensuring high-quality food production, and managing staff. Responsibilities

• Assisting in overseeing kitchen operations to ensure efficient food production and presentation.
• Assisting in leading, mentoring, and training a team of cooks and kitchen staff to achieve high-quality food preparation and presentation standards.
• Ensure that all food is prepared to the highest standards, using fresh ingredients and adhering to proper food handling and storage procedures.
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to food safety and health regulations.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery and high levels of customer satisfaction.

Skills

• Experience in a kitchen and food service management.

Pay: $64,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
