Sous Chef - Daytime

Overview
We are seeking a skilled Sous Chef to join our team at a vibrant cafe in the heart of the city. This role consists of day time hours with our kitchen open from 8am-4pm seven days a week.

Duties

• Ensure high standards of food quality and presentation
• Develop new menu items and specials alongside our kitchen team
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness and adherence to food safety regulations

-Support the head chef in their duties

Requirements

• Previous experience working in a busy restaurant or kitchen environment

• Understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment & procedures.

• Proficiency in food safety practices

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail
