Sous Chef- Part-time

Join a lively cooking school where every shift blends culinary creativity, teaching, and guest interaction. You’ll prep ingredients, help run classes and keep our kitchen sparkling, all while sharing your passion for great food

What You’ll Do

• Arrive 2.5 to 3 hrs. before each session to portion, chop, and set up and assist the Chef during demos refill drinks and ensure guests have everything they need
• Dress dining tables and tasting trays, so every class feels special
• Keep workstations spotless, follow food safety best practices, and report any equipment issues
• Follow lockup and startup checklists, stay with the team until the kitchen is back to showroom clean.
• Ring up purchases on the POS, package products, and recommend our favorite sauces, jams, and tools

What You’ll Bring

• 6+ months in a professional kitchen, catering, or culinary program (preferred)
• Solid knife skills and the ability to read and follow recipes precisely
• Friendly, guest first attitude and clear communication
• Strong organization and time management you thrive in fast paced settings
• Food safety experience and a commitment to cleanliness
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 30 lbs
