Sous Chef/Line Cook

Job Summary
We are seeking a talented Sous Chef to join our culinary team. The Sous Chef will assist the Head Chef in managing kitchen operations, ensuring the highest quality of food production, and maintaining a safe and sanitary work environment.

Duties

• Collaborate with the Head Chef in menu planning and food preparation
• Oversee kitchen staff and assist in training and development
• Manage inventory control and ordering supplies as needed
• Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations
• Assist in creating innovative dishes and recipes
• Support the Head Chef in all aspects of kitchen management

Qualifications

• Previous experience in the food industry or food service management
• Strong knowledge of kitchen operations, including inventory control and team management
• Proficiency in menu planning, food preparation, and cooking techniques
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
