WE ARE HIRING – ASSISTANT CHEF

Position: Assistant Chef – South Indian Cuisine & Breakfast
Location: Panchgani, Maharashtra
Salary: ₹18,000 – ₹25,000 per month
Experience: 1–3 Years

Job Responsibilities

• Assist the Head Chef in daily kitchen operations.
• Prepare South Indian breakfast dishes such as Idli, Dosa, Vada, Uttapam, Upma and Pongal.
• Prepare Sambar, Chutneys and other South Indian accompaniments.
• Handle breakfast preparation and ensure timely food service.
• Maintain food taste, quality and presentation.
• Manage ingredients, food preparation and kitchen stock.
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness and hygiene standards.
• Follow food safety guidelines and coordinate with the kitchen team.

Candidate Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience as an Assistant Chef, Commis Chef or South Indian Cook.
• Strong knowledge of South Indian cuisine, especially breakfast items.
• Experience in preparing different varieties of Dosa, Idli, Vada and Chutneys.
• Ability to manage breakfast service efficiently.
• Good teamwork and time management skills.
• Experience in hotels, restaurants or resorts preferred.
