Job Title: Data Entry Operator - Billing

Role Overview
We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Entry-Level Data Entry Operator to join our billing department. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of all billing-related information within our systems, contributing to the smooth financial operations of the company. The ideal candidate is an organized individual with strong typing skills and a commitment to error-free work.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately input, update, and maintain billing data and account information from source documents (eg, invoices) into our computer systems and databases.
• Verify the accuracy and completeness of all data entries and correct any discrepancies or errors identified by reviewing source documents.
• Generate and export data reports, spreadsheets, and summaries as requested by the management team.
• Maintain strict confidentiality and security of all sensitive financial and customer information, adhering to company policies and data protection regulations.
• Assist in retrieving data for audits or other business needs.

Qualifications and Skills

• Graduation is mandatory.
• Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word, and familiarity with data entry software and databases.
• Basic knowledge of office equipment, such as scanners and printers.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic mathematical skills to verify billing data for errors.

Preferred (but not required) Qualifications

• Previous experience in data entry, administrative, or accounts payable/receivable role (internships included).
• Fast and accurate typing skills (mention a preferred WPM if necessary, eg, 40+ WPM).
• Familiarity with CRM systems.
• Additional computer training or certifications.
