Sovereign Portfolio Data & Analytics Director

CONFIDENTIAL — We are conducting a confidential search for a Sovereign Portfolio Data & Analytics Director to lead the data strategy and advanced analytics function for a sovereign investment entity. This is a high-impact, director-level opportunity based in Abu Dhabi on a hybrid model for a senior data leader who will own the end-to-end data and analytics architecture supporting portfolio management, risk analytics, and investment decision-making across a multi-asset-class sovereign portfolio.

In this role, you will design and implement enterprise data platforms for portfolio analytics, risk modelling, and performance attribution across public equities, fixed income, private equity, real estate, and infrastructure. You will lead the development of ML/AI models for investment signal generation, scenario analysis, and ESG scoring. You will establish data governance frameworks, oversee data engineering teams, and drive the adoption of cloud-native analytics infrastructure. You will partner with portfolio managers, risk officers, and CIO-level stakeholders to embed data-driven decision-making across the investment process.

Nice to have
