SOX Manager & Assistant Controller for a Leading Global Manufacturing Corporation in the Sharon Region

Key Responsibilities

1. Global SOX Controls Management

• Responsible for the organization’s global SOX controls, including scoping, control matrices, process updates, risk identification, and risk management.
• Preparation of appropriate documentation and working papers for control testing.
• Collaboration with all subsidiaries worldwide and review of the adequacy and completeness of control documentation.
• Collaboration with external consultants and independent auditors.

2. Controllership & Process Improvement

• Preparation of working papers.
• Assisting with the preparation of standalone and consolidated financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
• Supporting the company’s external audit process and working closely with the company’s auditors.
• Working with government authorities, including the Central Bureau of Statistics and the Bank of Israel.

3. ERP Process Optimization

• Improving and optimizing ERP processes that impact financial reporting, documentation, and internal controls.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) – Required .
• Previous experience in a similar role, such as Assistant Controller and/or SOX Manager, either in a corporation or a Big 4 firm – Advantage .
• Experience working with ERP systems – Required ; Oracle experience – Advantage .
• Experience in a global publicly traded company – Advantage .
• Hands-on experience with SOX – Required .
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and its practical application.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently with a high level of responsibility.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Ability to independently analyze and define reporting requirements.
• Ability to analyze, design, and define business processes and workflows.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office and AI tools – Advantage .
• High level of English proficiency.
