SP Pharmacist

Duties

• Prepare, dispense, and review prescriptions with precision, adhering to all safety protocols and legal requirements.
• Collaborate closely with healthcare providers to develop and adjust medication plans tailored to individual patient needs.
• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medication histories and physiological considerations, to inform optimal therapy choices.
• Manage inventory effectively, ensuring the availability of medications while maintaining proper storage and documentation standards.
• Administer immunizations
• Provide patient education on medication administration, potential side effects, and medical management strategies.
• Assist in training pharmacy technicians, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintaining high standards of patient service.
• Participate in multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive patient care, including pediatrics, pain management, and medical management initiatives.

Experience

• Knowledge of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and medication administration protocols essential for effective patient care.
• Experience with pharmacy technician supervision and inventory management in a fast-paced healthcare setting.

Pay: $75.00 - $85.00 per hour
