SPA & STUDIO MANAGER

We are looking for an experienced, proactive, and highly organized Spa & Studio Manager to oversee the daily operations of our Spa, Yoga, Pilates, and Café facilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in wellness and hospitality management, excellent leadership skills, and solid financial management capabilities.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth daily operations, delivering exceptional guest experiences, managing team performance, and achieving operational and financial targets across all departments.

Key Responsibilities

1. Operations Management

• Oversee and monitor the daily operations of the Spa, Yoga Studio, Pilates Studio, and Café.
• Ensure all departments operate efficiently and consistently meet company standards.
• Develop, implement, and maintain operational procedures and service standards.
• Monitor daily schedules, bookings, appointments, class attendance, and staff productivity.
• Ensure all facilities, equipment, and treatment or studio areas are properly maintained, clean, and ready for use.
• Coordinate across departments to ensure seamless operations and excellent guest experiences.
• Identify operational challenges and implement effective solutions to improve efficiency.

2. Spa & Wellness Management

• Manage spa operations, including treatment bookings, therapist schedules, service quality, and guest satisfaction.
• Monitor treatment room utilization, therapist productivity, and service performance.
• Ensure spa products, equipment, and inventory are properly managed.
• Maintain high standards of hygiene, safety, and professional treatment delivery.
• Develop strategies to improve spa revenue, service offerings, and customer retention.

3. Yoga & Pilates Studio Management

• Oversee yoga and Pilates class schedules, instructor coordination, bookings, and attendance.
• Manage instructor performance, class capacity, and studio utilization.
• Monitor memberships, packages, class passes, and customer retention.
• Ensure studio equipment is maintained and classes run smoothly.
• Work with instructors to improve class offerings, scheduling efficiency, and revenue performance.

4. Café Operations

• Supervise daily café operations, including service quality, staffing, stock control, and customer experience.
• Monitor food and beverage costs, inventory levels, waste management, and supplier performance.
• Ensure compliance with hygiene, food safety, and operational standards.
• Review sales performance and identify opportunities to increase revenue and profitability.
• Coordinate with the café team to maintain consistent service and product quality.

5. Financial Management & Budgeting

• Prepare and manage annual budgets, monthly operating budgets, and financial forecasts.
• Monitor revenue, operating expenses, cash flow, and profitability across all departments.
• Prepare and review monthly financial reports, profit and loss statements, and budget variance analyses.
• Develop revenue forecasts based on bookings, class occupancy, spa utilization, café sales, and seasonal demand.
• Monitor key financial indicators, including revenue per treatment, class occupancy, average café spend, labor costs, and departmental profit margins.
• Control operating expenses and identify opportunities for cost optimization without compromising service quality.
• Establish financial targets and implement strategies to achieve revenue and profitability goals.
• Work closely with management and the finance team on financial planning, reporting, and business performance reviews.

6. Management Systems & Reporting

• Demonstrate strong knowledge of spa, wellness, studio, and hospitality management systems.
• Manage and optimize booking systems, scheduling platforms, POS systems, membership management, and reporting tools.
• Ensure accurate recording of sales, bookings, payments, memberships, and operational data.
• Analyze operational and financial reports to support informed business decisions.
• Recommend improvements to systems, workflows, and reporting procedures.

7. Team Leadership & Development

• Recruit, train, supervise, and evaluate team members across all departments.
• Prepare staff schedules and monitor attendance, productivity, and performance.
• Establish clear performance targets and encourage accountability.
• Foster a positive, collaborative, and service-oriented working environment.
• Conduct regular team meetings and provide ongoing coaching and development.

8. Sales, Marketing & Business Development

• Develop initiatives to increase spa bookings, yoga and Pilates attendance, memberships, and café sales.
• Identify opportunities for promotions, packages, memberships, and cross-department offers.
• Monitor customer feedback, market trends, and competitor activities.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to support campaigns and business growth.
• Build relationships with guests, members, instructors, wellness practitioners, and business partners.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in management within spa, wellness, fitness, boutique hospitality, or a similar industry.
• Previous experience overseeing multiple departments or business units is highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of spa operations, yoga and Pilates studio management, and café operations.
• Excellent knowledge of budgeting, financial forecasting, cost control, and profit and loss analysis.
• Proficiency in spa or studio booking systems, POS systems, membership platforms, and operational reporting tools.
• Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to analyze financial and operational data and translate insights into actionable business strategies.
• Strong commercial awareness with a proven ability to improve revenue and profitability.
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Fluent in English; additional languages are an advantage.
• Passion for wellness, hospitality, and delivering exceptional customer experiences.
