Responsibilities

• Perform a range of massage techniques including Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and other specialized modalities based on client needs.
• Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand individual health concerns and tailor treatments accordingly.
• Communicate effectively with clients to explain treatment options, address questions, and ensure comfort throughout sessions.
• Maintain detailed records of client treatments, preferences, and progress while adhering to confidentiality standards.
• Stay informed about the latest developments in physiology, anatomy, pain management, and occupational health to enhance service quality.
• Ensure a clean, safe, and relaxing environment by following proper sanitation procedures and safety protocols such as CPR certification.
• Promote additional services or products that support client wellness goals while maintaining a positive customer service experience.

Skills

• Proven experience in massage therapy with proficiency in Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and medical spa treatments.
• Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and pain management techniques to provide effective therapeutic interventions.
• Excellent patient communication skills with the ability to assess client needs accurately and explain treatment plans clearly.
• Customer service-oriented mindset with a friendly demeanor that fosters trust and loyalty.
• Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to therapeutic massage and occupational health practices.
• Valid CPR certification and adherence to safety standards are required for ensuring client safety during treatments.
• Prior experience in med spa settings or healthcare environments is preferred for delivering comprehensive care.
