Spa Housekeeper

Shift pattern will include a variation of afternoons and evenings throughout the week. (Wednesday-Sunday)

Wednesdays 5pm-10:30pm

Fridays- 5pm-10:30pm

Saturdays- 2:30pm-10:30pm

Sundays- 4pm-10:30pm

The start pay is set in line with National Minimum Wage and will be reviewed upon successful end of probation period.

Job Description – Spa Housekeeper

Scope and Purpose of the role

We are looking for a hardworking Spa housekeeper to join our busy spa and laundry at Hempstead House Hotel. We require a housekeeper who will be able to work efficiently on their own as well as in a team, ensuring that they are providing customers with the highest level of cleanliness and service in line with our company standards. Professionalism, flexibility and a ‘hands on’ approach with willingness to carry out physical work are a must that we are looking for in a candidate.

Main Responsibilities

• Ensuring spa, changing rooms, poolside, gym and public areas are cleaned on a regular schedule throughout your shift to the highest standards.
• To provide a first-class housekeeping service across all areas of the hotel ensuring the highest level of cleanliness and service is provided to our guests and in line with Hotel standards.
• A regular deep cleaning schedule to follow to ensure that the spa is kept to the highest standard possible
• Ensure that all staff Health & Safety is applied at all times.

• Experienced knowledge of Housekeeping operations.
• Superb attention to details and understanding of a luxury environment
• Excellent customer service skills
• Exceptional organisation skills
• Personal appreance to be professional
• Understands and appreciates the need for flexibility with a flexible approach to working hours to meet Housekeeping demands.
• Ability to work as part of a team to ensure a productive environment
• Takes a ‘hands on’ approach with a willingness to carry out physical work
• Approachable, friendly and understanding of the daily needs of a busy housekeeping team

Pay: £10.85-£12.71 per hour
