THE TEAM

Spa & Recreation team is responsible for delivering rejuvenating wellness experiences that complement the resort’s luxury offering. From signature treatments and wellness programs to fitness and recreation facilities, the team creates an environment where guests can relax, recharge, and reconnect.

YOUR ROLE

As Spa Manager, you will oversee all spa operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, high service standards, and strong business performance. You will lead, inspire, and develop the spa team while driving revenue growth, operational excellence, and wellness innovation.

Reporting to the Director of Rooms, you will champion wellness, guest satisfaction, associate engagement, and profitability.

HOW YOU’LL MAKE THE PLACE

Guest Experience

• Ensure all guests receive personalized and memorable wellness experiences.
• Maintain the highest standards of service, cleanliness, ambiance, and presentation throughout the spa.
• Handle guest feedback promptly and effectively to maximize guest satisfaction and loyalty.
• Develop innovative wellness programs and seasonal spa offerings.

Leadership & People Development

• Recruit, train, coach, and motivate spa associates and therapists.
• Foster a positive team culture aligned with Rosewood Hotel Group values.
• Conduct regular performance reviews, training sessions, and development plans.
• Lead by example in delivering Relationship Hospitality.

Operations Excellence

• Manage daily spa operations, scheduling, staffing, and facility maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, hygiene, and wellness regulations.
• Monitor service quality and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain inventory controls and oversee spa product management.

Financial Performance

• Develop and execute strategies to achieve revenue and profitability targets.
• Analyze business performance and prepare operational reports.
• Manage budgets, payroll, inventory costs, and purchasing requirements.
• Identify opportunities to maximize retail sales and treatment revenue.

Marketing & Business Development

• Partner with Marketing and Revenue teams to promote spa services and wellness experiences.
• Establish relationships with guests, local businesses, and wellness partners.
• Drive membership, package sales, and promotional campaigns.

COULD THIS BE YOU?

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Hospitality Management, Spa Management, Wellness, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Professional spa, wellness, or hospitality certifications are advantageous.

Experience

• Minimum 2-3 years' experience in a Spa Manager or Assistant Spa Manager role within a luxury hotel, resort, or wellness destination.
• Proven success in managing spa operations and achieving financial goals.
• Experience leading multicultural teams in a luxury hospitality environment.

Skills & Attributes

• Commercially driven with strong financial acumen.
• Passion for wellness, hospitality, and luxury service.
• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and spa management systems.
• Excellent English communication skills; additional languages are an advantage.
