SPA MANAGER

Job Summary

We are seeking a professional and customer-focused Spa Manager to oversee the daily operations of the spa, supervise staff, maintain high service standards, and ensure an excellent client experience. The ideal candidate should have strong leadership, organizational, and customer service skills, with experience in spa operations, wellness services, staff management, and business development.

Job Description

• Oversee the daily operations of the spa to ensure smooth and efficient service delivery.
• Supervise and coordinate spa therapists, massage therapists, receptionists, cleaners, and other spa personnel.
• Manage appointment scheduling, reservations, walk-in clients, and treatment bookings.
• Ensure clients receive professional, personalized, and high-quality spa services.
• Monitor staff performance and ensure compliance with established service standards.
• Develop staff schedules, assign duties, and organize training where necessary.
• Maintain adequate stock of spa products, oils, towels, equipment, and other supplies.
• Monitor inventory, control operating costs, and prepare operational reports.
• Ensure the spa environment is clean, hygienic, safe, and properly maintained.
• Handle client inquiries, feedback, complaints, and service recovery professionally.
• Develop strategies to attract new clients, retain existing customers, and increase revenue.
• Coordinate promotional campaigns, membership packages, discounts, and special offers.
• Monitor spa revenue, expenses, bookings, and overall business performance.
• Ensure spa equipment is properly maintained and report faults for timely repairs.
• Enforce hygiene, sanitation, health, and safety procedures in accordance with applicable standards.
• Maintain accurate records of appointments, client preferences, sales, and staff activities.
• Ensure professional conduct, client confidentiality, and appropriate handling of client information.

Requirements/Skills

• Minimum of an OND or HND/Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Beauty Therapy, or a related field.
• At least 2–3 years of experience in spa management, wellness operations, beauty services, or hospitality management.
• Good understanding of spa treatments, massage services, beauty therapies, and wellness operations.
• Strong leadership, staff supervision, and team management skills.
• Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Good organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to manage appointments, inventory, budgets, and daily operational activities.
• Basic financial management and sales reporting skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and spa booking or management software is an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness, hygiene, and service quality.
• Ability to handle customer complaints professionally and work under pressure.
• Professional appearance, integrity, and a customer-oriented attitude.
• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays when required.

Pay: ₦100,000.00 per month
