Spa Receptionist

Job Purpose:

To deliver a seamless and professional front-of-house experience, ensuring all guests receive a warm welcome and efficient service. The Spa Receptionist plays a key role in coordinating bookings, maintaining spa standards, and supporting the overall guest journey.

Key Responsibilities:

Guest Experience

• Greet all guests with a warm, professional, and friendly manner
• Ensure all guests feel welcomed, informed, and cared for throughout their visit
• Provide spa information, facility guidance, and assistance as required
• Distribute spa amenities (robes, towels, slippers) where appropriate

Reception & Administration

• Manage appointment bookings, cancellations, and amendments
• Answer telephone calls and respond to emails promptly and professionally
• Maintain accurate guest records and booking systems
• Handle guest enquiries and resolve issues efficiently

Spa Operations & Standards

• Maintain a clean, organised, and presentable reception area at all times
• Monitor spa facilities including thermal areas, poolside, relaxation areas, and outdoor spaces to ensure standards are upheld
• Identify and respond to guest needs within these areas
• Support the wider spa team to ensure smooth daily operations

General Duties

• Assist with light cleaning duties as required
• Support guest service delivery across the spa
• Carry out any additional duties as directed by the Spa Manager or HODs

Skills & Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role
• Experience with booking or scheduling systems (preferred but not essential)
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• GCSE Maths, English & Computer skills
• Ability to remain calm and professional in a busy environment
