We're looking for a friendly, enthusiastic and qualified Spa Therapist to join our small but passionate team at The Gainsborough Health Club & Spa.

We're a boutique health club and spa in the beautiful Suffolk countryside, offering our members and spa guests a welcoming place to relax, unwind and feel their best.

We're looking for someone who not only loves delivering fantastic treatments but also enjoys being part of a close-knit team where everyone mucks in and helps each other out.

The Role

As a Spa Therapist, you'll play an important part in making sure our members and spa guests have a brilliant experience from the moment they arrive.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Delivering high-quality spa treatments, including massages, facials and body treatments, to our members and guests.
• Creating a warm, welcoming and relaxing environment for every guest.
• Providing personalised treatment recommendations and promoting our professional skincare range, Comfort Zone.
• Maintaining excellent standards of cleanliness, hygiene and presentation throughout the treatment rooms and spa.
• Helping to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the spa.
• Supporting colleagues in other areas of the health club when needed. We're a small team, and everyone helps each other!

What We're Looking For

Essential:

• A recognised Level 3 Spa Therapy qualification.
• Availability to work Saturdays and Sundays.
• A warm, friendly and approachable personality.
• A genuine passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
• A positive attitude and willingness to be a team player.
• Flexibility to support other departments when required.
• Good attention to detail and pride in your work.

Desirable:

• Additional beauty therapy qualifications, although these are not essential.
• Experience working in a spa, salon or similar environment.
• Experience delivering Comfort Zone treatments or working with professional skincare brands.

Hours & Contract

This position is initially offered on a zero-hours contract, with weekend availability essential.

There will also be opportunities to pick up additional hours during the week, depending on business requirements and staff availability.

For the right candidate, we're also happy to discuss a fixed-hours contract, offering more regular and guaranteed working hours.
