Spa Therapist

Summary:

Provides a wide range of professional spa treatments to guests including but not limited to laser treatments, massages, facials, body treatments, skin care treatments, reception and other spa services. Ensures guest satisfaction and maintains a high level of professionalism and customer service.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform a variety of spa treatments, including but not limited to:
• Swedish, deep tissue, aromatherapy, hot stone massages (Non RMT) (full body for both male & female clients)
• Facials (including cleansing, exfoliation, extractions, masks and moisturization)
• Body wraps, scrubs, and treatments
• Laser Hair Removal
• Microneedling, dermaplanning, hydrafacial, chemical peel
• Receptionist tasks including insurance billing, invoicing, booking
• Social Media Marketing
• Other specialized professional skin care treatments as required
• Consult with guests to understand their needs and preferences, and recommend appropriate treatments.
• Prepare treatment rooms and ensure they are clean, sanitized, and stocked with necessary supplies.
• Maintain accurate records of guest treatments and inventory.
• Adhere to all spa policies and procedures, including safety and hygiene standards.
• Provide excellent customer service, including greeting guests warmly, answering questions, and addressing any concerns promptly.
• Promote and sell spa products and services.
• Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor at all times.
• Participate in team meetings and continuing education opportunities.
• Assist with other spa duties as needed, such as reception, laundry, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a spa therapist
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong customer service orientation
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Passion for providing exceptional guest experiences
• Knowledge of spa products and services
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends

Physical Demands:

• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Repetitive motions (e.g., massaging, applying products)
