About the Role

The Spa Therapist plays a key leadership role within a luxury 5-star hotel spa, delivering exceptional treatments while ensuring the highest standards of guest care, service excellence, and team performance. This position combines hands-on therapy expertise with mentoring responsibilities, supporting daily operations and contributing to an elevated, memorable guest experience aligned with the hotel’s brand standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver a wide range of high-quality spa treatments (a wide range of beauty and holistic therapies) to 5-star standards.
• Provide personalised consultations and recommend suitable treatments and retail products.
• Support daily spa operations, including scheduling, stock control, and treatment room readiness.
• Use strong product knowledge and confident recommendations to make retail recommendation and sales.
• Ensure all health, safety, and sanitation standards are consistently met.
• Contribute to team motivation and a positive working environment.
• Ensure all guest interactions are warm, discreet, and personalised.
• Handle VIP or special requests, ensuring a consistent level of luxury and care.
• Support the management team with service recovery and ensure guest feedback informs continuous improvement.
• Maintain accurate treatment performance records.
• Manage treatment product usage and assist with stock control.

Required Experience & Skills

Fully qualified spa or beauty therapist (minimum CIDESCO, CIBTAC, ITEC or equivalent).

• Minimum 1 -2 years’ experience within a five-star spa environment.
• Comprehensive knowledge of beauty and holistic therapies .
• Passionate about guest service, wellness, and nurturing team development.
• Calm, confident communicator with excellent attention to detail.
• Eligible to work in Ireland.

This Job Description will be reviewed and updated on an annual basis with the Spa Manager
