Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Spanish Interpreter to facilitate clear and accurate communication in a church setting. Responsibilities

• Provide accurate interpretation between Spanish and English across church settings, including interpreting of the sermons on sundays.
• Utilize translation skills to convert written documents, ensuring clarity and precision.
• Conduct over-the-phone interpretation (OPI) and video remote interpretation (VRI) services promptly to support urgent communication needs.
• Adhere strictly to professional ethics, confidentiality policies, and standards during all interpretation activities.
• Demonstrate cultural competency by applying cross-cultural communication techniques aligned with clinical cultural standards.
• Qualifications
• Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English with exceptional verbal and written communication skills in both languages.
• Familiarity with American Sign Language (ASL) is a plus but not required; strong understanding of cross-cultural communication standards is essential.
• Ability to perform over-the-phone interpretation (OPI) and video remote interpretation (VRI) efficiently under pressure.

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
