About the Role

Responsible for day-to-day interpreting and translation work for Latin America projects, and actively involved in international engineering business negotiations and cross-cultural collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Provide interpreting services for project meetings, business negotiations and technical briefings, ensuring accurate and efficient communication.
• Translate and proofread contracts, reports and technical documentation to ensure the professionalism of the documents.
• Act as a communication bridge to facilitate collaboration and integration between expatriate teams, local teams and partners.
• Provide day-to-day language support to project personnel and carry out other translation and communication-related tasks.
• Participate in on-site project work; depending on project requirements and staff arrangements, be deployed to project sites—including those in high-altitude regions—as required to provide translation, communication and coordination support during the construction phase.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher, specialising in Spanish.
• Preference will be given to candidates who have studied in Latin America or undertaken an internship with a Latin America company.
• Preference will be given to candidates able to adapt to working in a high-altitude environment.
