Spatial Application & Visualization Designer

Client Industry: International designer and manufacturer of workplace furniture and office systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Workplace Needs, Trend Research & Application Synthesis

• Research, analyze, and synthesize global workplace design trends, emerging spatial behaviors, and regional market needs to establish clear design inputs for high-impact spatial applications.
• Partner closely with Workplace Solutions Designers, product marketing, and field teams to absorb core product standards, application guidelines, and strategy insights as inputs for visualization projects.
• Translate workplace research, customer business requirements, and sales briefs into structured design concepts that showcase world-class product applications and spatial settings.
• Facilitate customer engagement sessions and capture field feedback to track repeating spatial patterns, ensuring 3D visualizations continuously reflect market-relevant, real-world workplace solutions.

Spatial Design, Product Composition & Storyboarding

• Create and design product settings that solve for design inputs using effective spatial zoning, product composition, and technological concepts.
• Develop spatial zoning (setting placement), product composition (interdependent placement of objects), and scene composition (portrayal of products in workplace environments).
• Construct inspiring storyboards to describe spatial solutions in a compelling, audience-relatable manner.
• Co-create setting solutions through collaborative design engagements with internal and external stakeholders.

3D Visualization, AI Workflows & Visual Communication Services

• Provide high-impact 3D visualization and visual communication services for internal teams and commercial customers using software such as 3ds Max, Blender, SketchUp, and AI-assisted rendering tools.
• Deliver conceptual renders (SketchUp/AI tools), studio renders (product shots in clean environments), environmental renders, and AI-enhanced spatial visual concepts.
• Leverage generative AI visualization workflows and prompt-based image enhancement techniques to accelerate design iteration and elevate scene realism.
• Select optimal visual communication mediums to enhance spatial storytelling and customer presentation impact.
• Compose and deliver engaging technical and visual presentations to field sales, A&D communities, and commercial clients.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Visualization, or related discipline.
• 3+ years in commercial interior workplace consulting, design planning, and/or 3D visualization & spatial rendering.
• Contract furniture systems, commercial real estate, spatial design, workplace ergonomics, and manufacturing processes.
• Visualization & AI Integration: 3D visualization mastery, generative AI visualization tools, spatial zoning, scene composition, and collaborative stakeholder presentations.
• Visualization & AI Tools: Expertise in 3ds Max, Blender, SketchUp, AutoCAD, Revit/BIM, Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator), and Generative AI visualization tools & prompt-driven rendering enhancement workflows.
• Rendering & Scene Composition: Proficiency in conceptual renders, studio renders (product shots in clean environments), interior perspective environmental renders, and AI-accelerated visual prototyping.
