The Sterile Processing Technician inspects, cleans, assembles, and sterilizes surgical instrument sets. This role operates cleaning and sterilization equipment and prepares instruments, supplies, and equipment for steam and low-temperature sterilization.

Minimum Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Active certification through the Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution (CBSPD), Healthcare Sterile Processing Association (HSPA), or International Association of Healthcare Central Service Materiel Management (IAHCSMM)
• Minimum of two years of instrument-processing experience, with proficiency in all areas, including sterilization and instrument-set assembly

Shift Night shift, 11:00 p.m.–7:30 a.m.

Salary Range: Minimum 19.02/hour - Maximum 30.44/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
