Who we are:

Education Law Offices, LLC, is a boutique law firm specializing in representing students with disabilities in Colorado. We also represent students facing suspension, expulsion and other disciplinary proceedings. In addition to representing students with disabilities, candidates with experience in juvenile criminal law and student civil rights are encouraged to apply.

Position Highlights:

· Flexible working hours to accommodate personal commitments.

· Workload flexibility

· Primarily remote work schedule (within Colorado)

Responsibilities:

Provide parents and adult students exceptional legal representation in education law cases.

Includes:

· Independently managing caseload to ensure top-quality representation

· Attending IEP and Section 504 meetings

· Drafting due process complaints, litigating administrative hearings, and drafting other complaints, motions, and appeals

· Negotiating and attending mediation

· Disciplinary matters, including suspension and expulsion

· Disability and discrimination cases under ADA, Section 504, and other civil rights laws

· Strategically delegate tasks to a paralegal.

· Developing and implementing plans to achieve client objectives while maintaining clear communication.

Qualifications:

Minimum two years of litigation experience in any legal field.

Ability to independently manage a case load.

Exceptional professionalism, responsiveness, and attention to details

Colorado bar license

Compensation is based on billable hours and experience.
