Special Education SUB responsibilities include:

• Provide instructional and behavioral support and assistance to classroom teachers and students assigned to a team in a K-8 setting.
• Supervise students during recess, lunch, and sensory breaks.
• Record student progress on data sheets, goal sheets, and daily logs to assist the teacher and behavior coordinator.
• Assist with educational classroom needs and student behavior plans.
• Work collaboratively with a school-based team.

Substitutes should be comfortable working with children with autism and related special needs in grades K�8, alone or as part of a co-teaching team. Subs are expected to maintain classroom health and safety standards, implement pre-written lesson plans, update children's daily information electronically, and follow the program guidelines.

$120.00/day, or $130.00 per day for long-term assignments (With Lesson planning)

Compensation Frequency�Semi-monthly on the 15th and 30th of each month
