Overview:

Responsibilities:

• Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities for preschool children

• Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow

• Foster social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development through play-based learning

• Use effective classroom management techniques to promote positive behavior and a productive learning environment

• Collaborate with other teachers and staff to ensure the overall well-being of the students

• Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns or achievements

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Special Education

• Previous experience working with preschool-aged children with special needs

• Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in early education

• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

• Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet the individual needs of students

• Familiarity with special education techniques and accommodations

• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)

• Ability to pass a background check

Preferred Skills:

• Experience working with students who have special needs or disabilities

• One-on-one instruction experience

• Knowledge of physical education activities for young children
