We are looking for a dedicated and adaptable

Special Education Teacher

to join our academic team. The ideal candidate is committed to delivering high-quality education, differentiatingi nstruction to support diverse learners, and working collaboratively with staffto enhance student outcomes.

What You'll Do:
Conduct group teaching in an inclusive setting for students age 7 and above with learning difficulties.

Demonstrated experience supporting students with learning difficulties, including the ability to deliver targeted instruction in literacy, numeracy, and other core academic areas.

Able to adapt and modify curriculum materials and teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles and abilities.

Develop and implement an individualized Education Plan (IEPs) tailored to each student's specific needs, in collaboration with other educators and specialists.

Deliver high-quality instruction that meets the educational and developmental needs of students with disabilities.

Regularly monitor and evaluate students' progress,adjusting instructional strategies as needed.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of students' performance, including IEP documentation.

Workclosely with support staff, and other specialists to ensure a coordinatedapproach to education.

Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding students' progress, challenges, and achievements.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in education or related field from an accredited university.

Prior teaching experience with IPC or IMYC frameworks is highly preferred.

At least 2 years of experience working with children in a school setting with learning difficulties, delivering targeted instruction in literacy, numeracy, and other core subjects.

Familiarity with developing andimplementing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), including linkingassessments to IEP development.

Strong interpersonal andcommunication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively withstudents, staff, and parents.

Proficiency in classroom and behavior management techniques and the use of appropriate intervention strategies.
