Teaching Assistant

Role and Responsibilities

• Support teachers in educating students through teaching and non-teaching tasks across school activities.
• Assist in planning learning activities tailored to students’ developmental needs and maintain related records.
• Implement agreed-upon behavior and management strategies.
• Prepare teaching resources and classroom displays.
• Use thoughtful questions and prompts to encourage student engagement.
• Conduct student observations and provide feedback to teachers in various formats as needed.
• Support students’ extra-curricular activities.
• Participate in relevant professional development.
• Perform other job-related tasks across school areas as required.
• Adhere to the school’s safeguarding policy and stay updated on any changes.

Requirements

• Bachelor Degree in a related field with experience in dual-language or bilingual settings preferred.
• High level of professionalism and commitment to children’s well-being.
• Ability to build strong relationships with students, teachers, and parents.
• Excellent proficiency in English and Mandarin.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a team-oriented and multitasking mindset.
• Job-related experience is preferred.
• Must hold a valid Hong Kong work visa.
