Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Special Educator, located in Chennai. The Special Educator will be responsible for designing and implementing individualized education plans for students with disabilities, fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment, and collaborating with parents, caregivers, and other education professionals. Daily tasks include teaching and mentoring students in middle school, developing specialized teaching strategies, and ensuring effective communication to support students’ holistic development.

Qualifications

• Experience in Special Education and familiarity with working with differently-abled individuals
• Proficiency in Teaching and mentoring middle school-aged students
• Strong Communication skills to effectively work with students, parents, and colleagues
• Understanding of educational practices and strategies for children with Disabilities
• Patience, empathy, and a passion for working with children with special needs
• Relevant certification or degree in Special Education or related field
• Experience in collaborating with multidisciplinary teams is an advantage

Pay: From ₹20,000.00 per month
