Position: Special Educator

Location: Aravali International School, Faridabad

Eligibility Criteria:

• Bachelor's/Master's Degree with B.Ed. in Special Education or equivalent qualification recognized by the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI).
• Valid RCI Registration is mandatory.
• Minimum 2–5 years of experience in a CBSE or reputed school (preferred).
• Sound knowledge of inclusive education practices, CBSE guidelines, and NEP 2020.
• Excellent communication, counselling, and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and assess students with special educational needs.
• Prepare, implement, and review Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
• Provide remedial and individualized instruction based on students' learning needs.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers to ensure inclusive teaching practices.
• Conduct regular assessments and maintain progress records.
• Work closely with parents, counsellors, therapists, and school leadership for holistic student development.
• Guide teachers on classroom accommodations and behavioural intervention strategies.
• Ensure compliance with CBSE inclusive education norms and maintain required documentation.
