Make a Difference as a Special Needs Classroom Aide

Join the Seneca County Opportunity Center team and help students learn, grow, and reach their full potential!

What You’ll Do:

• Support students with academic, life, social, and vocational skills.
• Assist with personal care, mobility, feeding, and behavior support.
• Help implement IEP goals and classroom activities.
• Maintain student records and collaborate with teachers and families.

MINIMUM ACCEPTABLE QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

· High School diploma or equivalent.

· Knowledge or experience with Classroom Management and Child Development.

· Experience or training on how to safely move individuals or objects.

· Ability to Obtain State of Ohio Department of Education Educational Aide Certificate (school age)

· Must successfully complete drug screening, physical ability exam and background check

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

· Starting hourly wage is $16.00 or higher based on experience.
