Special Needs Teacher

About the role

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teachers to join our team full-time. You will work closely with our educators to design and deliver individualized learning support for children with additional needs, ensuring they are fully included and thriving alongside their peers in our mixed-age setting.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to each child's developmental needs
• Provide one-on-one and small-group support within an inclusive, mixed-age classroom
• Collaborate with classroom teachers to adapt curriculum, activities, and environment for diverse learners
• Monitor and document each child's progress, adjusting strategies as needed
• Communicate regularly and sensitively with parents/guardians regarding their child's development
• Liaise with external therapists or specialists (speech, occupational, behavioral) as required
• Support a warm, structured, and safe learning environment for all children

About you

• Diploma or degree in Special Education, Psychology, or a related field
• Prior experience working with children with additional needs (early intervention or inclusive settings preferred)
• Sound understanding of developmental milestones and common learning/developmental differences (e.g. autism spectrum, ADHD, speech/language delays, sensory processing)
• Patient, empathetic, and adaptable approach to teaching
• Strong communication skills, both with children and with parents
• Able to work collaboratively within a small, close-knit teaching team
