About us
LOJ Supports is a clinically led NDIS provider supporting participants with complex and high-intensity needs. Our in-house team of Behaviour Support Practitioners, Occupational Therapists and a Registered Nurse work together to deliver safe, coordinated, participant-tailored support.
We have built a strong reputation across South East Queensland’s health networks, and we’re a trusted referral partner for Support Coordinators, allied health and community health services, plan managers and guardianship bodies. Many of our referrals come to us because of the quality and responsiveness of our clinical work.
The role
- Complete Functional Behaviour Assessments and develop interim and comprehensive Behaviour Support Plans within NDIS Commission timeframes.
- Support participants with complex presentations, including regulated restrictive practices, with a focus on reducing and eliminating their use.
- Lodge plans and documentation through the NDIS Commission Portal and support implementing providers with their reporting obligations.
- Train and coach families, carers and support teams to implement plans safely and consistently.
- Provide clinical guidance and mentoring to practitioners within the team.
- Work alongside our OTs, Registered Nurse and Support Coordinators, plus external health and community partners.
About you
- Considered suitable by the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission, with capability at the Specialist level of the NDIS Positive Behaviour Support Capability Framework (Advanced practitioners working towards Specialist are encouraged to apply).
- A relevant tertiary qualification in psychology, occupational therapy, social work, speech pathology, nursing or a related field.
- Proven experience with complex presentations and regulated restrictive practices.
- Strong report writing and sound knowledge of NDIS legislation and Practice Standards.
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check, Blue Card (or willingness to obtain), driver’s licence and reliable vehicle.
Why LOJ Supports
- A clinically led, multidisciplinary team
- A provider trusted by health networks across South East Queensland
- Meaningful work that makes a real difference
- Professional development and flexible working arrangements
