Specialist - Developer Full Stack (Direct experience in credit cards)

Job Description & Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain backend systems using .NET/C#, Python, Java, JavaScript (with Node.js), Go or other modern backend languages.

• Design, implement, and consume RESTful APIs for communication between systems (e.g., origination, campaign, rewards, fraud monitoring).

• Develop and maintain batch jobs for scheduled operations and background processing.

• Contribute to frontend development using any standard web frameworks or libraries (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, Angular, etc.).

• Ensure proper integration between frontend and backend layers with attention to performance and security.

• Work with databases to design schemas, write and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and views.

• Analyze and tune database performance (e.g., indexing, query optimization, execution plans).

• Support basic data modeling and collaborate with analysts to design scalable database structures.

• Collaborate with system analysts, QA, infrastructure, and business teams in project and support activities.

• Work across Windows and Linux environments for development, deployment, and troubleshooting.

• Write and maintain technical documentation, including API specs and deployment guides.

• Follow secure coding, clean architecture, and best practices for scalable and maintainable systems.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

• 5 years of experience in backend or full stack development.

• Strong experience in .NET/C#, with additional knowledge of Python, Java, JavaScript (with Node.js), Go or other backend languages.

• Familiarity with frontend development, not limited to specific frameworks (ability to build or maintain basic web UIs).

• Experience working with REST APIs, JSON/XML, and web services integration.

• Hands-on experience with batch processing and job scheduling.

• Proficient in SQL Server or other RDBMS (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL), including:

o Writing efficient SQL queries, joins, and stored procedures

o Performing query tuning, indexing, and execution plan analysis

o Supporting data structure design and normalization

• Familiar with version control tools such as Git.

• Comfortable working in both Windows and Linux server environments.

• Good command of English – able to read technical documentation, write clear reports, and communicate in multi-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in financial or credit card-related systems (e.g., CRM, loyalty, onboarding, fraud detection).

• Exposure to API gateways, message queues, or integration middleware.

• Understanding of PCI-DSS, data privacy, or other financial regulatory requirements.

• Experience in DevOps, CI/CD, or containerization (e.g., Docker, Jenkins) is a plus.

• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
